In 2016, Mirella Smith started  M I R I M A L  in her native land of Greece as a limited collection of unique jewelry, each handcrafted and one of a kind. Her family has been involved in jewelry since 1892; four generations ago they established their brand in one of the most historical and prestigious streets of central Athens creating high-end jewelry. 

Raised in a love of jewelry, Mirella learned early the intricate art of design and the precision of stringing each bead or jewel into stunning sautoirs and story-telling necklaces that will last a lifetime. 

Inspired by artistic treasures found across the world, each semi-precious stone and amulet is handpicked and most of the pieces one-of-a-kind. 

Mirimal has been a New York based brand since 2017 where it started fusing American style into its collection, incorporating gemstones like turquoise, and silver accent jewels found in traditional Southwestern Native American jewelry. 

Mirimal’s mission is to tell the stories of each piece, centered around each amulet or gemstone and the statement they make. Crafting her pieces with the utmost respect to the different cultural styles that exist across the globe and nature, her pieces speak to the hopes and desires of the person wearing them.
