Bone beads are as beautiful as they are powerful. Native Americans believed that when an animal dies from natural causes they would honor it by making beads from their bones. Thus, by wearing these bone jewelry, the spirits of the animal they come from would provide spiritual protection and the wearer would eventually posses the unique traits of that animal.
