Ethically sourced bone beads stringed together featuring a large Magatama Carnelian.

Magatama — a unique stylized form of prehistoric bead, appearing as long as 15,000 years ago in burial mounds in Korea and Japan. It is speculated that the shape may have originally represented an animal fang or claw, the crescent moon, a tear or even a whirlpool or eddy in water. It is the last meaning that continued to find expression throughout Eastern Asian culture, in symbols such as the Yin-Yang in Taoism and the Tomoe in Shintoism and Japanese symbology.

Carnelian has one of the oldest known gemstone histories. It was widely used in ancient Rome to make signet or seal rings for imprinting a seal on letters or important documents (hot wax does not stick to carnelian).

Bone — beautiful as it is powerful. Native Americans believed that by wearing bone jewelry, the spirits of the animal they come from would provide spiritual protection and the wearer would eventually posses the unique traits of that animal!
